The Consulting Demonologist is a podcast about demons, monsters, and magic throughout history. Each episode tackles a particular demon (or demons), looking at all aspects of the specific demon – what it is, where it’s from, how it’s fought, and what fear it may represent in the cultures it belongs to.
This podcast is purely an academic endeavor, made by someone who has too much fun working on demons and related topics. This is not a “practical approaches” podcast.
The Consulting Demonologist is run by an academic who works on (and loves talking about) demons and monsters. My training is in the ancient world, but my interests are far-ranging, if most often demonically-inclined.
